What previous students have said:

  • I contacted Dianna a few months ago to help me with a project I was working on. I just couldn’t get my stitches to behave! Dianna returned my initial inquiry without delay, and within a couple of hours of back and forth e-mails, we had made a date. She showed up right on time and was ready to get started immediately. She watched me crochet for a few minutes and was able to quickly give me several tips for how I could crochet better. She never said I was crocheting wrong–just that there were ways I could improve. Then we looked at the troublesome stitch itself. She watched me do mine, then she did some herself and I watched her. I learned a lot not just about the stitch itself but about crocheting in general just by watching her. Plus I learned to be patient in my ability (I’m a beginner who thinks she should be able to crochet at an expert level) but also more self-confident in my ability (I’m more of an intermediate crocheter who still thinks of herself as a beginner)–if any of that makes any sense. And I got all that from Dianna. I can highly recommend her to get you started on your crochet journey or to help you along your way.”  Patty
  • I had never crocheted before and I wanted to make scarves for Christmas presents. From the first phone call Dianna was friendly and seemed to have a real passion for teaching crochet. That passion was VERY evident in the first lesson. She was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoys teaching others. I was on my way to my first scarf in no time flat! I have since had more private lessons with her and had fun learning more complex stitches. If you want to learn something new or need help on a project I HIGHLY recommend Dianna.” Colleen
