Need a quick and fun gift to make?  This is the perfect project for all of your worsted weight scraps and mismatched buttons. The moss stitch is easy to do and can create color pooling when using variegated yarns.   Whip one up for each person on your gift list.  I guarantee they will appreciate their coffee or tea staying warm in the colder months 🙂

Supplies:

Worsted Weight Yarn-Less than 50 yds (sample made in Loops & Threads Impeccable)

Size I/9/5.5mm Crochet Hook

One coordinating button (any size)

Notes:

Not all mugs are the same size, so you can adjust the length of the wrap by adding or subtracting a multiple of 2 stitches in your foundation chain.  You can also adjust the length to create color pooling if you are using a suitable variegated yarn.
